The second Channel Partner Podcast episode features two interviews with technology industry experts along with the usual discussion from our hosts.
We focus on the future of technology in business, including the place of cloud computing and consumer device usage. In conjunction with IT industry event ITEX (held in Auckland, NZ) we had insightful interviews with Michael Davies (Chairman, Endeavour Partners, USA) and Trevor Clarke (Senior Analyst, IDC, Australia).
Episode 3 will feature highlights from CES in Las Vegas from a perspective that is relevant to partners and the business community.

Channel Partner Podcast–Episode 1
In this inaugural episode of the Channel Partner Podcast starts by highlighting something about the concept of the Channel Partner Podcast – and the sorts of topics that we expect to cover in future episodes.
Our first discussion focuses on the consumerisation of IT, also known as the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) concept.
This is followed up by an extensive interview with Microsoft VP Jon Roskill discussing the Microsoft Partner Network’s first year – along with the Cloud and one of Microsoft’s emerging products – Windows InTune.
In closing we review recently released market share figures for the PC and mobile phone markets.

In the studio
After months of discussions and planning, the first portion of the first Channel Partner Podcast episode has been recorded. We will be completing the first episode and launching it in next few days.
The podcast is being headed up by the same team that launched the iTunes chart topping NZ Tech Podcast. Each episode there will be a range of discussions and topics relevant to the global technology and telecommunications channel partner community.
